This order was part of a subscription order that I have had with this vendor for several years. For years it has been filled smoothly and effectively. Something changed this year, and this company was no longer filling my subscription order and was not communicating with me about it was getting was an automated message saying that my order was not fulfilled due to a stock shortage. Turns out the stock shortage was an issue caused by them not ordering sufficient stock to be able to fulfil the order, month after month after month. This standing order is for a dollar amount between 400 and 500 CAD so they were throwing away a several hundred dollar order every month due to incompetence and an inability to forcast, which had never been an issue before. Insomt know for sure, but it feels like a switch to ai from competent humans, and when those very xompetent humand keeping their business running smoothly for years humans were fired or moved, everything fell apart.
After many discussions with a human customer service agent over many months, I have successfully received my first monthtly subscription order after not getting it for 6 or 7 months. Hallelujah! They're finally able to actually fill orders again. I'm still skeptical this situation will continue toneun smoothly, butnits a step in the right direction. I obviously do not trust this company to be anlentonfillmroutine orders after 6 months of missed fulfillment, but this was the first step in getting my orders again, well see how it proceeds.
