Supplement Facts Serving Size: 1 Teaspoon Serving Contains: 200 Amount/Serving Psyllium (Plantago ovata) husks 1945 mg Clove (Syzygium aromaticum) flower bud 6 mg Chinese licorice (Glycyrhiza uralensis) root 52 mg Inulin 36 mg Hibiscus sabdariffa 414 mg Inulin extracted from chicory root is an excellent prebiotic to increase the bifidobacteria population in the colon, which contributes to human health in many ways.
Directions
Take 1 teaspoon twice daily. For each gram of psyllium, take with 30 ml of liquid (water, milk, fruit juice, or similar aqueous beverage). Drink immediately and maintain adequate fluid intake. Effects observed 12–24 hours after the first dose; results may take 2–3 days. Take 2 hours before or after taking other medications. Avoid long-term use and consult a health-care practitioner for use beyond 6 weeks. Also take 1–2 capsules of enteric-coated Acidophilus Ultra each day.
