What's in each capsule
Black cohosh (Actaea racemosa) root is a 12:1 extract at 3.35 mg, equal to 40.2 mg of dried root. Black cohosh has a long history in North American herbal tradition. Chasteberry (Vitex agnus-castus) fruit is a 10:1 extract at 4 mg, equal to 40 mg of dried fruit. Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera) root, the best-known herb of Ayurvedic practice, is a 5:1 extract at 60 mg, equal to 300 mg of dried root.
The vitamins are vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) at 15 mcg (600 IU) and vitamin B6 as pyridoxal 5'-phosphate, the active form, at 2 mg. The capsule is plant-based hypromellose, with microcrystalline cellulose and vegetable-source magnesium stearate as the only other ingredients.

Menopause changes more than one thing at once, and this formula covers more than one base in a single capsule. The two herbs carry the licensed menopause and cycle claims. Vitamin D3 carries the bone claims, which matter more as oestrogen falls. One capsule a day keeps the routine simple.
